Welcome to our colorful world

Meet Kevin Hunter – Art Instructor & Founder of Gallery 185
Kevin Hunter holds an MFA in Painting and a BA in Education, and has spent over 20 years working with students of all ages. He currently teaches art in Lakewood, Ohio, but his favorite place to share his love of art is in his home studio, Gallery 185. Kevin has a deep commitment to inclusive education, having taught and coached students with a wide range of disabilities—including those who are deaf, blind, autistic, or have learning challenges. As a former wrestling coach, he made sure every student had a place on the team, even when it meant challenging the norm. Kevin has a gift for making every student feel seen, welcome, and capable. Outside the studio, he loves adventuring with his wife and five children.
